Fire crews called to second Waverley blaze in a week
FIRE crews have been called to Waverley for the second time this week after attending a large skip blaze last night (Thursday).
A crew from Parkway station attended Fox House Lane at 11.24pm.
"The fire was out in the open and the large skip set alight had pallets and building materials inside," said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"The crew left at 11.57pm and the cause was deliberate."
Another fire happened on the same lane in the early hours of Monday morning (May 6) when a JCB was deliberately set on fire.
