Fire crew tackle Wales extractor unit blaze

A FIRE in an external extractor unit in an industrial building sparked a rapid response from a fire crew early early this morning.

They were called to the premises on Waleswood Road, Wales, at 3.30am and used a hose reel to bring the blaze under control.

They left the scene at 4.40am.

A fire service spokesman said: “The fire was accidental and the crew managed to get it out before it spread”.

There were no injuries.
