Fire crew puts out Meadowhall M1 blaze

FIREFIGHTERS put out a burning car on the M1 motorway near Meadowhall this morning.

One crew from Parkway station attended the vehicle blaze, between J34 and J33 on the southbound carriageway, at around 6am .

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was accidental, a fire service spokeswoman said.
