Falling tree at Clifton Park causes injury

The incident happened in Middle Lane earlier today and left a blue Ford Focus trapped under the tree.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance arrived on the scene around 11am to assist with on-scene support.

They confirmed the patient was taken to hospital via a land ambulance.

Members of the public were seen clearing pieces of the tree from the road and it was clear by 1.30pm.
