Eavie's big snip to help cancer patients

Eavie, of Northfield Lane, Wickersley, donated her long hair to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children who have lost theirs due to illness, and raised 450 in donations.
And two of her friends at Bramley Grange Primary School loved her new bobbed look so much they decided to follow suit.

Hide AdMum Rebecca Oxtoby (pictured with Eavie) said: “The day after her birthday she had the big chop and her ponytail, along with the money we raised through friends and family, has been sent to the Little Princess Trust.
“I think any awareness this raises to help this charity is a worthy cause.
“We didn’t do it to raise money but we managed to get £450 in sponsorship in just a week, which is brilliant.
“She really loves her new look. I cut her hair off begrudgingly but I have to say it looks fantastic.
“And two of her friends have had the same style done now so she really is a trendsetter.”
