East Dene police cordon "not crime-related"
POLICE said a cordon put in place in East Dene on Saturday was not related to a crime.
Parts of Badsley Moor Lane and Far Lane are understood to have been sealed off following the incident.
A police spokesperson said: “A man had suffered injuries to his ankle and foot — this was accidental and was not a criminal matter.”
They said officers did not believe rumours in the community that the man had been injured falling from the roof of a building were correct.
