Double burglary 'ruins Christmas' with X-Box, TV, car keys and jewellery stolen

TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and the theft of a motor vehicle after targeting the same property twice in just over 24 hours.

The suspects, both aged 16, allegedly caused criminal damage to the rear door of a property in Cantilupe Crescent, Aston, as they forced entry at around 9.30pm on Saturday, December 3.

It is reported by the victim that a number of items were stolen, including an X-Box, a TV, a set of car keys, jewellery and Christmas presents.

At around 10pm the following day (December 4), the victim’s car was reportedly stolen. 

The victim said the incident had “ruined her Christmas”.

Police said the suspects had been bailed pending further enquiries.
