Dearne Valley couple's fundraising for India flood victims passes £7,500 mark
Sue and Paul Nortcliff, of Middlecliffe, who were featured in last week’s Weekender, run Jasmine Cottage in Kovalam in the region of Kerala which has suffered its worst flooding for a century.
Family, friends and former cottage guests have helped the couple raise more than £7,500 which will be used in the flood relief efforts.

Hide AdThe couple’s daughter-in-law, Karen Mullins, who is the Weekender office manager, said: “They have got a lot of Indian friends there and that’s why they wanted to help.
“I’ve had seven trips out there and the people are so happy. It’s just such a welcoming place. It’s like a second home for Sue and Paul.”
