Crews tackle trio of accidental fires over weekend

A car was accidentally on fire at 6pm on Saturday evening in Rotherham. Firefighters spent 20 minutes tackling the vehicle blaze on Aldwarke Lane.

Firefighters from Rotherham, Dearne and Edlington stations were then called out to an accidental fire involving an extraction unit at industrial premises on Wharf Road, Kilnhurst, at 11.45pm. Crews left the scene at 1.30am.

On Sunday morning crews attended an accidental shed fire at 9.25am on Denaby Lane, Old Denaby. Firefighters came away at 10.50am.
