Coronavirus: Ann's Candy making up food packages for the elderly


A SWEET shop owner is preparing packages of essential food items for the elderly to help them through a potential lock-down.
Ann Savage, owner of Ann’s Candy in Rotherham’s Indoor Market, is appealing for people to donate tinned and dry food.
She is making 50 boxes to deliver to elderly people’s homes this weekend.

Hide AdThe Government has announced that by next weekend, those with the most serious health conditions must be largely shielded from social contact for around 12 weeks.
Anyone who would like to make a donation can drop food off at Ann’s Candy, which is on the upper floor of the indoor market.
