The Great Whites club, on Broad Street in Parkgate, was broken into in the early hours of Saturday (29).
Megan (24) died when the vehicle she was travelling in hit two parked cars in the early hours of June 8 and the collection was for her two young daughters, Rhia and Keira.

Great Whites manager Keane Fletcher said: “It’s just shocking. My youngest, Brett, went all the way through school with Megan and her dad drinks in the club.
“The tin’s been there for six weeks, ever since it happened. You can tell how much Megan meant to people and how it’s affected them.
“The tin was on the bar and there was a lot of money in it. Not just change, I’d seen lads putting £10 notes in there. It was all going to be for Megan’s daughters.”

Keane said: “My two sons left the club after closing up and after that, three people have got in through the roof, into the flat above and then into the club.
“They’ve ransacked the upstairs, smashed all of our bandits. The only good thing for us was that they didn’t damage the pool tables.”
A police spokeswoman added: “A large quantity of cash and alcohol products were taken. Damage was also caused a number of gaming machines in the reported burglary.
