CCTV appeal after woman harassed on Rotherham bus

A female passenger on the X22 was approached by an unknown man who made “concerning and intimidating” comments, the force said.

A spokesperson added: “Despite her efforts to prevent him speaking to her further, it is understood he continued to behave in an intimidating way until she got off the bus in the Manvers area.

“The man is believed to have stayed on the bus and now we are releasing footage of a man we believe could hold vital information. We need him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch.”

The bus left Rotherham Interchange at 12.09pm on January 2. Police are also keen to hear from anyone else who was onboard.
