Bank staff to battle it out for hospice cash
Twenty Lloyds employees are preparing back sales and other tactics to boost profits before their stints at six stores on Tuesday (20).
Kyle Holling, customer excellence manager at the bank’s Sheffield business unit, said: “Frankly, it could be a bit of a bun fight when the teams have just one day to battle it out to be the best.

Hide Ad“It won’t be easy. They are bringing a variety of skills and expertise, but many have never had direct retail experience before.
“What I am most looking forward to is being face to face with customers and helping the charity out.
“I have already been involved in the Colour Dash and I’m sure this will be just as much fun.”
As well as competing with each other, the fundraisers will be aiming to beat the totals of other teams around the country as part of Lloyds annual Day To Make A Difference.

Hide AdThe staff will be working at the Dinnington, Wickersley, Herringthorpe, Maltby, Wath and Brinsworth shops for the Shop Wars event.
Rotherham Hospice will receive all the money made on the day plus £8 an hour for each Lloyds employee taking part.
