Arsonists strike twice overnight in Balby

FIRE crews spent over an hour tackling two deliberate blazes in Balby in the early hours of this morning. 

A bin was first deliberately set alight at 12am on Springwell Gardens.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident and came away at 12.50am.

A crew from the same station then attended a deliberate fire involving fencing at 12.35am on Westmorland Street and was there until 12.50am.

Eleswhere in the borough, a vehicle was accidentally on fire at 8.10pm on Aldwarke Lane, Aldwarke, Rotherham. 

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident, leaving at 8.50pm.
