21-year-old man in Clifton arrested on suspicion of burglary

OFFICERS who arrested a man in Clifton on suspicion of burglary this week are appealing for help to find the owner of jewellery and clothing they recovered in Rotherham. 

Police arrested the 21-year-old man on suspicion of burglary on Tuesday. 

Inside the address, officers discovered a large bag of jewellery and two dresses, which they believe may have been stolen during a burglary at some point.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “If you recognise the jewellery or if you have any information which might help us reunite the pieces with their rightful owner, please call 101 quoting crime reference number 14/32796/22.”
