They are asking young people to dream up an idea for an event that could be run in town on one of the Saturdays in December.

Young people need to create an exciting concept, back up their ideas with some market research and produce a budget, keeping the event costs within £3,000.

The winner of the most inspiring idea will receive a VIP invite to the Christmas Lights Switch-on evening on November 17, which falls during Global Entrepreneurship Week.

They will meet the celebrity guests and other personalities and may have an opportunity to work alongside the events team to make their event concept, or elements of it, a reality.
