Writers invited to Rotherham showcase

Writing Yorkshire and Rotherham Libraries are presenting The Saturday Dinner Spoken Word.   

They are calling all writers, poets and story-tellers in the Rotherham area to this free event.

Poet and songwriter Ray Hearne said: “We’ve organised a day-time open mic session for anyone who wants to come along and read something out to an appreciative audience — poem, short story, piece of local history, biography — whatever.”

You can join Ray Hearne and the Riverside Writers in the cafe at the new Riverside Library, Main Street, Saturday March 22, from noon to 2pm.
