Winterhill's class of 2023 celebrates in glamorous fashion

Students dressed to impress in dinner suits and ballgowns as they held their graduation ball at Wentworth Woodhouse for the third time.

While some arrived in the traditional prom transport of stretch limousines, others went for something a bit different, with motorbikes and supercars roaring up to the stately home’s grand doors.

Behaviour lead Simon Jeffrey said Wentworth Woodhouse – the grade I-listed mansion which is being restored to its former glory - was “a perfect setting to celebrate the students’ success”.

He added: “The night involved our famous students awards, which also sees our King and Queen crowned.

“Students had food in the Marble Hall with an ice cream van outside serving desserts.

“They went out in style by having professional portraits done and finished off the night with lots of singing and dancing.

“We’re so proud of them.”
