TREETON LIBRARY: The library is held at Treeton Baptist Church every Tuesday 9.30am-12.30pm to exchange books and jigsaws. During school holidays Bookworms activity classes are held for children.

HOUSING SURGERY: Treeton residents are invited to a drop-in session every Thursday 10.15-11.30am at Treeton Reading Rooms where they can discuss problems relating to housing, anti-social behaviour, crime and the environment. The police, RMBC, Streetpride and Cllr John Swift are usually at these sessions. If anyone has a matter to discuss in private, make this known on arrival.

COUNCILLOR’S SURGERY: Cllr Darren Hughes of Rother Vale ward will hold a surgery every Friday 5pm at Treeton Community and Resource Centre.

TREETON LOCAL HISTORY GROUP: Instead of the usual meeting the group visited Wentworth Castle. They had a guided tour of the gardens and talk about the history of the house and the Earls of Strafford.
