WHAT’S ON: Thorpe Hesley

THORPE HESLEY VILLAGE CHOIR: Meeting every Wednesday in school term-time from 7-9pm at The Trinity Centre, located adjacent to Holy Trinity Church, Sough Hall Avenue, Thorpe Hesley, Rotherham. Adults of all ages welcome.

TRINITY CENTRE BOOK CLUB: Meets first Friday of every month in the Trinity Centre Library. This month visited Hardwick Hall as a result of reading a book about Bess of Hardwick.

GOLD AND SILVER GROUP: Meet on third Tuesday of month at Holy Trinity 1.30pm. The August meeting included a luncheon to celebrate Yorkshire Day as well as members’ significant birthdays.

FIFTH ANNUAL THORPE SHOW: On September 19, schedules available with many new categories.

THORPE HESLEY WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: On August 15, ladies from the Rockley Group of WIs visited Skipton. Thorpe Hesley WI meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Trinity Centre 7.15pm.
