WHAT'S ON: Rawmarsh and Parkgate
BIG GARDEN BIRDWATCH: January 30-31 – the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch, now in its 37th year, helps provide valuable information about the changes in numbers of birds using gardens in winter and creates a picture of how garden wildlife is doing. Participants count the birds in their garden or local park for one hour over the Big Garden Birdwatch weekend and tell the RSPB what you see. Participants are being asked to log some of the other wildlife, including badgers, hedgehogs and red squirrels. To register and request a pack, visit www.rspb.org.uk/birdwatch or call the RSPB at Old Moor on 01226 751593.
RAWMARSH METHODIST CHURCH: Sunday morning service on January 16 was led by Rev Jenny Park. The Communion Service in the evening was led by Rev Alistair Sharp. Both the Prayer Group and Leisure Group met last week.
