ASHWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL: On May 27 Y5 will undertake their cycle training and school will break up for half term.

 

RYECROFT INFANTS SCHOOL: On April 13 the school had 100 per cent attendance. As part of their topic What Lies Beneath the Waves? Y2 pupils will be visiting The Deep in Hull on May 23. During this term the children will extend their learning about life at sea, find out about underwater habitats and compare places in the world where people live close to the water to their own lives in Rawmarsh.

 

RAWMARSH METHODIST CHURCH: The Leisure Group had an outing this week to Spalding.

CAR PARK AWARD SCHEME: The hunt is on to find the best and worst car park in the Dearne Valley. The scheme has been started by Revive, a vehicle paint specialist company in Doncaster. Judging will take place in June this year and winners will be submitted for the regional finals and then a national final. The top three best and worst in the UK will be named in September.
