SANDHILL PRIMARY ACADEMY: Raised £854 for the British Heart Foundation by holding a sponsored zumbathon. The money will go towards funding research and equipment to help heart patients. Last year a volunteer from the charity visited the school and spoke about its work. Y5 and 6 did some project work on the heart. The Heartstart programme is delivered to pupils through school and they are able to learn when and how to react in a life threatening emergency – https://www.bhf.org.uk/heart-health/nation-of-lifesavers/heartstart.
