MEXBOROUGH AND DISTRICT PROBUS CLUB: The club met on August 18. Janina Derrick presented a talk on Women Inventors Sidelined by History. The club meets every fortnight on alternate Tuesdays at the Swinton House Club, 20 Fitzwilliam Street. Meetings start 10.30am. The next meeting is on September 1 when John Korna will talk on The Importance of Number One.
