ST BEDE’S CHURCH: The next luncheon club is on April 5 and that evening there is a deanery liturgy meeting to discuss the Mass at Pentecost 7pm. The next collection for Shiloh/Hub is April 10. The choir of King’s College, Cambridge is performing a commemorative concert in honour of the men of the Sheffield City Battalion who died in the Battle of the Somme at St Marie’s Cathedral on June 27 7.30pm, tickets 0114 223 3777, in person at Sheffield City box office, www.stmariecathedral.org.

ST PAUL’S CHURCH: Maundy Thursday on March 24, Good Friday March 25, Last Supper and Passion services were celebrated with Rev Grice officiating. Easter Sunday Family Communion was celebrated on March 27 with Rev Charles Grice officiating. Family Communion was celebrated on Sunday with Rev Charles Grice officiating, followed by a buffet lunch to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary of Anne and David Selman. The Rotherham Local History Society will meet at St Paul’s on April 16 10.30am when Joan Hart will talk about At the Coal Face: The Memoirs of a Pit Nurse £2. The society meets each month, annual subscription £11.
