WHAT’S ON: Kimberworth Park

BARKERS PARK BOWLING CLUB: The club was at home to Spartans on August 31 in the vets singles competition. Mick Parlett and Steve Bellamy won their games. The September 2 vets doubles match was away to Marquis B. Jim Flannery and Andy Swift won their game. September 4’s evenings doubles match was at home against Phoenix B. Steve Bellamy and Mick Weaver and John Wood and Rob Slow won their games.

KIMBERWORTH PARK CLUB 50+: 68 members attended August 2’s meeting. Bingo was played, winners were Sue Hill, Joy Stephenson, Iris Endicott, Margaret Herrera, Gail Selman and Betty Bates. A raffle took place, winners were Sue Heath, Margaret Herrera, Pauline O’Brian and Sheila Morley. Members’ loyalty draw winners were Barbra Cooke and Marjorie Wilkinson. The members’ treat was won by Maureen Bolton. Free vouchers were given out for The Chistlett multipurpose gym.

COFFEE MORNING: Free coffee morning at Kimberworth Community Centre (Black Hut) every Thursday 10am-noon.
