KIMBERWORTH PARK WALKING GROUP: On September 11, 45 members and St John’s Green church members had a pie and pea supper in the church hall, followed by a raffle, bingo and a quiz. On September 16, 29 members completed a three mile walk via Meadowbank and along the canal to Rotherham town centre.

 

KIMBERWORTH PARK CLUB 50+: The indoor bowls group held its weekly games on September 14. Seventy members attended the weekly meeting. Bingo was played and a raffle held, also the members’ loyalty draw took place and the members treat was given out. Members were reminded that the Macmillan coffee morning would take place next week and also include a table top sale and a raffle. Members were issued with free vouchers for the Chislett multi-purpose gym. Members were reminded that the free computer casses would be starting soon. Final names were taken for the Skipton trip and names taken for those wishing to go to Doncaster races in October. A visit is planned for Coronation Street. Contact Sheila Walker 01709 552543.
