GREASBROUGH COMMUNITY BOWLING CLUB: January 4 – Winter Round Robin Singles winners Charles Abson, Dot Payne, John Byers, Maureen Taylor. January 6 – Winter Round Robin Singles John Byers, Linda Abson. January 7 – club members assembled in the pavilion as rain stopped play. January 9 – Winter Round Robin Singles Dave Milnes, Kenny Herbert, Maureen Taylor. 

ST MARY’S CHURCH: January 5 – 10am Sunbeams group for under fives met in church. The theme was the house on the rock, a story told by Annette, songs and crafts, tube houses were made in the craft time led by Canon Rev Lyn Wortley and the team. January 6 – 9.30am morning worship with Communion. January 10 – 10.30am Holy Communion service, Canon Rev Lyn Wortley preached and presided. 12.30pm: a service of Baptism was held for Leandro Garcia Taylor McKinney, Canon Rev Lyn Wortley presided.
