WHAT'S ON: Greasbrough

ST MARY’S CHURCH: October 4 – Messy Church on the theme of harvest where items were made to represent God’s creation such as funky sharks, candles decorated with seeds, colourful bracelets and moon and star mobiles. Prayer cards in the shape of leaves were placed on the a prayer tree with people’s prayers. Sunday@7 was a time of teaching on Jesus washing the disciples feet, worship and healing prayer. October 5 – there was a coffee afternoon in Greasbrough Library. Craft met in the schoolroom working on sewing, knitting and card projects for Christmas. October 6 –Sunbeams, a group for the under fives and their carers, had story time with Annette Walker and playtime with toys and crafts.
