GREASBROUGH ALLOTMENTS SOCIETY: People keen to rent an allotment can find out more by calling at the allotments on Scrooby Drive, Greasbrough, on Sundays 11am-1pm.

GREASBROUGH COMMUNITY BOWLING CLUB: March 7 – 21up triple, John Byers; 21up doubles, Linda Abson and Dot Payne; 21up doubles, Dot Payne and Linda Abson. March 8 – the club played its last Winter League friendly match at Barkers Park and Dave Mee, Dave Milnes and John Byers won their singles games. March 10 – 21up triple, Dave Milnes. March 12 – Round robin singles, Dave Mee; 21up doubles, Maureen Taylor and Martyn Critchlow x 2. The club invites new people to join. Club days are Saturdays 11am and Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 6pm. At present the weekday times are still 1pm. Beginners are welcome as tuition and bowls will be provided for no extra charge.

ST MARY’S: March 7 – Craft Club held 2pm in school room. March 8 – Sunbeams group for under 5s was held in church 10am. March 9 – Wednesday morning service of morning worship 9.30am. March 13 – 10.30am Sunday service of Holy Communion, Rev Lyn Wortley preached. Annual Parochial Church meeting held after service.
