SK58 BIRDERS: The hide at NAPT, entrance off Cramfit Road shared with Bluebell Wood Hospice, is open every Saturday 8-11am until June 6. On April 24, 11 members went on the field trip to Budby and Sherwood Forest – amongst 43 species recorded were three cuckoo, green woodpecker, woodlark, tree pipit, house martins nesting, three redstart, whinchat, nuthatch, treecreeper, two raven, siskin and lesser redpoll. May 23 – 10am walk to Carlton, Broom Farm and Langold Lake, meet behind the church at Carlton-in-Lindrick, contact 01909 563108.
