LOCAL ROADWORKS: Until February 25 – National Grid carrying out works on Westfield Road. There is traffic control with multi-way signals in place. The work is to replace old iron gas mains with plastic pipes. Northern Powergrid have been carrying out works on B6097 Elsecar Road, with two-way traffic control signals which is due to end today. This work is a substation replacement.
