VIDEO: Maureen Nolan gets in the mood for panto

IT'S beginning to look a lot like Christmas, with festivities around the borough well and truly in full swing.

The Christmas lights were switched on in the town centre last week and a whole host of other festive frolics are planned in the run-up to the big day.

That includes the pantomime at Rotherham Civic which gets under way on December 2.

To help get you in the Christmas spirit, we caught up with star Maureen Nolan at this year's launch at Boston Castle back in September.

Maureen, one-fifth of singing sister super-group The Nolans, is cast as the Fairy Godmother and lines up alongside Yorkshire girl Sophie Wysoczanski (Emmerdale) as Cinderella, Carl Tracey (Go!Go!Go!) as Prince Charming and Sean ‘Rollo’ Rollason as Buttons.
