A TV presenter is set to delight audiences at the Rotherham Civic next week with a personal appearance ahead of the release of his new book.

Dan Walker, former host of BBC Breakfast, will be giving the lowdown on the release of his new book next Saturday — Standing on the Shoulders of Giants: Incredible

Heroes and How they Inspire Us.

It is the second book published by Dan after the release of Remarkable People in 2020.

The Sheffield University old boy, now a presenter on Channel5 News, will discuss the inspiration behind his new book which is described as “a beautiful, illuminating

celebration of ordinary people and the incredible things they do”.

Those who spoke to Dan for the book, which will be released next Thursday, include 2021 Strictly winner Rose Ayling-Ellis and his Strictly partner Nadiya Bychkova.

Standing on the Shoulders will be released next Thursday (October 13).
