Town centre pub's music night for Help for Heroes

A TOWN centre pub is raising cash for heroes with a charity event next week.

The County will host the Help for Heroes event next Thursday from 3.30pm, with up to six live music acts.

Raffle prizes include a 50-inch TV, £200 in Argos vouchers, barbecue, mini-fridge and a signed Rotherham United football.

Fund-raiser and regular Kevin Davies said owners Amber Taverns had pledged to match the sum raised, adding: "We'd love people to turn out for this good cause - the more that come, the more money we can make."
