Tasty way to raise charity cash

Emma Borrill-Townsend organised the event at St Mary’s Church, Herringthorpe Valley Road.

Emma, who was inspired to help after her mum was diagnosed with cancer, praised the community for their support.

She added: “I’d like to say huge thanks to my mum and dad, Wendy and Brian Hirst, and to Yvonne, Jessica and Helen Swift for all their help.

“It brings our year’s total to just over £1,600 raised for Breast Cancer Care.”
