Steps Productions perform Les Miserables

Members of Steps Productions are in their final rehearsals for the school edition of the epic musical which they will perform at the Civic Theatre from July 17-20.

Earlier this month, some members of the group, which launched in 2008, visited the Queen’s Theatre in London’s West End in preparation for taking to the stage themselves.

Producer Ash White said: “Rehearsals are going brilliantly along with tickets selling well.

“With just over two weeks to go, we are delighted to have already sold out for the final performance.”

Steps, whose past productions have included Annie Warbucks, Seussical the Musical and Hairspray, are on the lookout for new members, aged seven to 19, for their upcoming show Avenue Q.
