Songs, stand-up and spooky stuff at The Dome
A weekend of thrills and excitement will be held at Doncaster Dome with Britain’s Strongest Woman on Saturday, September 30 followed by Britain’s Strongest Man on Sunday, October 1 in the 'Giants Live Weekend of Strength' events.
The events will see the pound-for-pound strongest people on the planet do battle in five trials of strength for the iconic Giants Live golden trophy.
On Thursday, October 12, the Elvis Tribute Artist World Tour will be at the venue direct from the USA.
Billed as the world’s biggest, best and most successful Elvis tribute show, the event will star three winners of Elvis Presley Enterprises’ Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest including the winner of BBC One’s The World’s Greatest Elvis – Shawn Klush (USA), as well as Dean Z (USA) and Ben Thompson (UK).
Saturday, October 21 sees the world’s premier Meat Loaf tribute show take to the stage.
Celebrating the life, music and legend of the musical maestro, it features the ultimate ‘Dead Ringer’ to Meat Loaf Craig Halford as seen on ITV’s ‘Stars in their Eyes’ and Channel 4’s ‘The Last Leg’.
Mixing guitar-driven, post-punk hooks with dancey, electronic polish, Northern Ireland band Two Door Cinema Club will be at the Dome on Wednesday, October 25.
Comedian, writer and presenter Sarah Millican will be raising the roof with laughter on Friday, October 27 with her Late Bloomer show.
The Best Newcomer winner at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe has gone on to host her own Radio 4 series and appeared on numerous TV shows including Mock the Week, QI, and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
Europe's must-see wrestling promotion returns to the Doncaster Dome on Saturday, October 28 with the 1PW Know Your Enemy - Live Wrestling event.
The month concludes with Most Haunted Live on Sunday, October 29, the acclaimed world's number one paranormal show presented by Yvette Fielding.Most Haunted is the original and most successful worldwide paranormal investigation series ever made and this is the premiere of the spine-chilling theatre show.
