Sign up to inflate hospice funds

TEAMS are invited to sign up for a day of giant inflatables, foam, silly costumes and laughter in aid of Rotherham Hospice.

The charity is organising its annual It’s A Knockout contest, which will be part of the hospice summer fair on Sunday, June 7.

Fundraising team leader Anne Giblin said: “This is a fantastic, fun challenge, whether you enter as a corporate team, pub team, or family and friends.

“Everyone gets into the spirit of things, making elaborate joker cards and decorating their team gazebos.

“Last year, our own hospice team turned up as ‘Summer Santas,’ which was a bizarre sight in the middle of August.”

The event takes place at Brinsworth’s Phoenix Sports and Social Club and the teams of ten should aim to raise a minimum of £750 through sponsorship and fundraising.
