Sight and Sound tea party to boost minibus appeal
Sight and Sound will welcome those with sensory impairments to its base on Ship Hill, in the town centre, on Thursday, July 5.
The event aims to raise awareness and funds for the centre, which was set up by Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) a year ago.

Hide AdStaff are trying to fund a minibus, on which people isolated by vision impairment can be transported to social events.
Centre co-ordinator Sue Hill said: “It’s a proper tea party with China cups and scones.
“There’s still a lot of people who don’t know about us. Anyone with a vision or hearing impairment is welcome, if they would like to learn more.”
The tea party runs from 10am to 12.30pm, with the Mayor of Rotherham, Cllr Alan Buckley, attending from 10.30am.
