Second time around for Lisa at lights switch-on
It will be second time that Mrs Wright has switched on the lights— the first time was in 1981 when, as a six-year-old, she helped her grandmother, Cllr Joan Johnston, at the switch-on.
Cllr Johnston was the Mayor in 1981-82.
An estimated 8,000-strong crowd is expected to join the switch-on party in All Saints’ Square, which starts at 4.30pm.
