Saddle up for fundraiser

SAFE@LAST has invited horse riders to saddle up for a fundraising sponsored ride in beautiful surroundings.

Participants will be able to choose either five or ten-mile routes at the event in aid of the Dinnington young runaways charity.

It takes place at the exclusive Osberton estate, near Worksop, on Sunday (June 7), including areas not usually open to the public.

There will even be some optional jumps for those wishing to add a little extra to their day.

Event organiser Clare Sherratt said: “We’re delighted to return to the Osberton estate for the forth year with this popular event.

“Over the last four years, riders have raised more than £5,500 to help us continue to provide essential services to children and young people to keep them safe from harm.

“We always receive such wonderful feedback from riders so are looking forward to welcoming previous supporters and some new faces to the event.

“The ride is very popular so I’d recommend riders register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.”
