Rotherham dancers celebrate 20 years of success
Principal Miss Wendy Tolley said: "Dance has always been a major part of my life and after being expertly guided by the late June Tyrrell I ventured out on my own.
“There were many excellent schools around 20 years ago but at the time there didn’t appear to be any that concentrated solely on just stage performances so that is the area I chose.

“My overall ambition was to see local children given a chance to perform and express themselves through dance.
“The school itself has always followed our number one rule that we are all equal, we work as a team and if anyone needs help we give it. “This I truly believe as been the biggest success behind out company and I am very proud of my children and students.
Rotherham (area) Dance Company’s next production Musical Madness takes place at the Civic Theatre in January. As part of anniversary celebrations, 100 free tickets are being offered to various young people’s organisations.
