Ramble by the railway

WALKERS are being urged to get on board with a railway ramble this week.

The Penistone Line Partnership has organised the walk tomorrow morning (7).

The ten-mile route will follow public footpaths from Goldthorpe via Phoenix Park, Hooton Pagnell, Clayton to finish at Thurnscoe station for return trains.

The route starts at Goldthorpe station at 9.45am and organisers said suitable trains left Meadowhall at 9.21am, Rotherham Central at 9.28am and Swinton at 9.36am.

All are welcome and the walk is free but train fares apply.
