Pub invites military to get fell in for a free meal

A KIMBERWORTH pub is marking Armed Forces Day by offering free meals to all military personnel.

The Drawbridge, Fellowsfield Way, says soldiers, sailors and aircrew, from veterans to cadets, providing they are over 18, are all eligible for  free carvery meals from next Monday until Armed Forces day itself on June 30.

Paul Roche, manager at the Drawbridge, which is part of the Crown Carveries chain, said: “We pride ourselves in being the UK’s most regal carvery brand—our name says it all—and as a result we feel best placed to support our serving and past troops on this commemorative day.
