Associate principal Daisy Dunning said: “It was an exciting afternoon for all involving stalls run by staff and members of the local community.

“Families enjoyed face-painting, cakes and sweets stalls, tombola, wax melt stalls, festival hair and glitter tattoos, candles and home fragrances, knitted toys and animals, an ice-cream van, handmade crafts, and activities provided by Rotherham United.

“Although raining, it didn't stop the families of Brookfield and local community members from getting together, having fun and raising more than £600.”

The money raised will go directly into benefiting pupils, by providing opportunities including a school pantomime experience, educational workshops, and updating playtime equipment.
