Pride’s back in Rotherham

ROTHERHAM Pride is back again this weekend with attractions including a performance from X Factor finalist Jack Walton.

The LGBT Rotherham Pride event at Clifton Park on Saturday, which is now in its third year, will also showcase Nicola Marie as Lady Gaga supported by a line-up of local artists.

One of the organisers, Kate Naylor, said: “The wonderful LBGT Rotherham Pride welcomes diversity and embraces all walks of life.

“In the last three years it has grown and become very popular for families.

“It promises to make for an amazing day for the whole family.”

Visitors to the event, which runs from 11am to 6pm, will be invited to embrace the diversity theme and take part in activities including African drumming, circus skills as well as arts and crafts workshops.

Kate added: “This will be a great atmosphere family fun event with wonderful live music, lots to do and food and drinks available to buy.”
