PHOTO GALLERY: Pupils in the pink for Race for Life
Cllr Alan Buckley was joined by the Deputy Mayoress, Mrs Sandra Buckley, Rotherham United mascot Miller Bear and head teacher, Helen Simpson, in putting on an unusual outfit for Ferham Primary’s fundraising run.
Last year’s Mayor, Cllr Lyndsay Pitchley, was also invited to take part after forging strong links with the school during her year in office.

Hide AdThere were two runs held last week — Early Years and KS1 pupils walked and ran around the playing fields on Wednesday and Years 3 to 6 on Thursday.
More than 220 children completed the course and enjoyed stalls, games and a penalty shootout contest organised by Rotherham United Community Sports Trust.
Senior administrator Mandy Kelly said the school had collected more than £600 so far for Cancer Research UK, with more money still to come in, and thanked ice cream seller Geoff Blades for donating his taking from the day.
