Open day wil show off borough’s rich heritage

ROTHERHAM Minster will host an open day showcasing the rich heritage of the church and the borough.

The event runs from 10am to 3.30pm on Saturday, October 23, including tours, talks and music from the minster’s choirs and organists.

Rotherham Heritage Alliance has partnered with the minster to reflect on the heritage elsewhere in the borough.

And a free scavenger hunt will be held for children, helping them to uncover the hidden gems of the church.

Refreshments will be sold by the minster hospitality team, Friends of Rotherham Chapel on the Bridge and our the Social Supermarket team.
