Priced from £31,995, the new e-C4 X will be sold exclusively with an electric powertrain serving up a range of 222 miles.

A 138PS motor makes it capable of 9.5-second acceleration to 62mph and a top speed of 93mph.

From launch, the e-C4 X is available in three trim levels: Sense, Shine and Shine Plus.

Standard kit includes 18-inch alloys, advanced comfort seats, keyless entry and start, as well as a ten-inch touchscreen equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
